Three hundred and fifty thousand people are waiting for a scan that a hundred thousand have already had. Neko Health, the whole-body imaging company co-founded by Spotify's Daniel Ek, has raised $700 million in a Series C round to take that queue to the United States.

Lightspeed Venture Partners and O.G. Venture Partners co-led the round. Existing backers Atomico, General Catalyst and Lakestar took part, alongside new investors Liberty City Ventures, Positive Sum and BDT & MSD. The raise follows a $260 million Series B in January 2025 that valued the company at $1.8 billion, and Neko has not disclosed the post-money valuation this time.

An hour of your time is the product. Neko's 60-minute scan combines proprietary radiation-free sensors with blood analysis, screening for pre-diabetes biomarkers, blood abnormalities and risk factors for metabolic syndrome, stroke and heart attack. Results arrive on site within minutes.

Sessions cost between $300 and $400 in the United Kingdom and Sweden. More than 100,000 scans have been delivered across those two markets.

What separates Neko from Prenuvo is the hardware. Neko does not use MRI, relying instead on imaging sensors of its own design. Tim Ferriss, an author and investor, has said that Neko's one-location model for producing a detailed biological map in under an hour is something no competitor currently replicates.

"Over the past eighteen months, Neko Health has demonstrated remarkable innovation and growth," said Bejul Somaia, Global Partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners. The company reports that three in four returning members with previously identified severe or life-threatening conditions were in good health or had the condition under control, and that five of seven key biomarkers improved significantly between a first and second scan.

Those figures come from Neko rather than from an independent review. The first US clinic opens in New York City later this year, where the company will be selling the same hour to a different regulatory system.
